British automaker Aston ashton cars makes a handful of low-slung sports cars that compete with dynamic driving machines from Porsche and Maserati. It also builds an SUV and a few hypercars, including the recently launched Valkyrie.
Aston’s current lineup includes the Vantage, DB11 and DBS Superleggera. All offer a similar mix of luxury, power and beauty. They can’t match the outright speed of the new Ferrari Purosangue, but they do make a strong case for themselves.

The new DBX707 raises the Aston’s performance capabilities, but it doesn’t fix any of its key issues. This includes the DBX’s outdated infotainment system, which lacks touchscreen functionality and feels old and clunky compared to rivals like the Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT.
Luckily, the DBX707 is still a fun and beautiful way to get around town. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces up to 697 horsepower and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This means it can hit 62 mph in just over four seconds and reach a top track speed of 196 mph.
The 2025 Aston Martin Vantage is a remarkably entertaining car. It has more power than any Porsche 911 available at the moment and easily ties the 670-horsepower Z06 Corvette for straight-line pace. It minimizes space between corners with bombastic and borderline frightening aplomb and demands respect on the racetrack. Its adaptive Bilstein dampers, shared with the DB12 and retuned for this model, are very comfortable left in their default Sport mode, but they can be adjusted for even greater refinement if needed.
