Netball Court Specialists is a fast-paced, highly physical team sport. Originating from basketball, it is a popular sport in schools and continues to grow in popularity in the UK. It’s one of the few sports created exclusively for women and girls and remains primarily played by them.
As netball court specialists, we can help with all aspects of new surfacing and re-surfacing for both outdoor and indoor facilities. This includes the design, construction and installation of multi use game areas (MUGAs) for netball as well as a range of other sports.
Choosing the Right Surface for Your Netball Court
We can provide a range of bespoke netball surface designs which will allow you to highlight surrounds, goals and centre circles for increased player awareness. We can also spray paint line markings in a variety of bright colours to distinguish between the different sports that can be played on your MUGA.
Netball is typically played on hard courts, however we can also provide a range of sprung synthetic surfaces which will greatly improve the ball bounce and slip resistance for increased player comfort. We have installed many sprung netball courts at clubs and schools across the country including the recently completed Pimpama Sports Hub where we re-surfaced 12 existing tennis/netball courts to Laykold Masters Float.
The MUGAs we install for netball are designed to be highly porous, meaning water drains through the surface easily. This helps to prevent flooding and waterlogging which can damage the surfacing, making it unsafe for play. This will also help to extend the lifespan of your MUGA surface and reduce maintenance costs.
