Northern California’s Sonoma County is home to the Sonoma Valley wine region. The area also boasts a colonial-era Sonoma Plaza and the 19th-century Mission San Francisco Solano. You’ll also find Jack London’s cottage and gravesite at Jack London State Historic Park, and a variety of hiking trails.

There are also plenty of upscale restaurants in Petaluma, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, and Sonoma. You’ll find something to please every palate.
If you’re a fan of good wine, Sonoma County has a great selection of wineries, craft breweries, cider houses, and distilleries. Many of the wineries are open to the public, and the cider houses and distilleries are popular among tourists.
